Sure is Winter time here in Seattle! We were hit with snow storm last week. I have not seen so much snowfall - School was cancelled, my office was closed for 3 days, and some places are without power.
Luckily we did not loose power but we did loose our internet connection for three days. My kids are restless without it. They don't know what else is there to do. LOL! It was kind of a funny site! The tree in our backyard fell in our neighbors yard. Thank God it did not do a lot of damage. The beautiful Maple tree in front of my neighbors yard was cut in half. The weight of the ice was too much for trees to handle! I love that tree. They put Christmas lights on it on holidays and it was beautiful and festive. I will miss that tree!
We are finally back to normal but the ice still lingers. The kids snowman are still half way standing, block of ice still on the side of the road! What a week we had!

The photo's are beautiful :) We have an icy morning here in IA, too. School was delayed 2 hours yesterday and today! So happy to be on the QQ DT with you :)
Do you guys still have snow on the ground? Over here on the Penninsula, my front yard is still completely covered and our driveway is a solid thick sheet of ice. And that's even with the temperatures getting up into the 40s. I haven't walked out of my house in a week!
