Crying for a Christmas by Scott Krippayne with Lyrics

This song is BEAUTIFUL!!! The lyrics, the voice...everything! LOVE IT!

Here's the lyrics: Let's sing along!
These are the lives of the rearranged
Scattered souls who've been displaced
Nowhere else to turn
Like Bethlehem we have packed the place
Human need fills ever space
No room at the inn

Still God found a corner
Made a bed down in the hay
Could he reappear make his advent here
Will he still draw near today?

My world is crying
Crying for a Christmas
Some way to know for sure --
That our God is with us
We could all use a sign
A little glimpse of divine
For a world that still cries for Christmas

Feeding trough on a dirty floor
Unimpressive welcome for
God's Almighty Son
Are we as blind to incarnation
Daily proof of our salvation
Love's already come

We are not abandoned
All alone in our despair
He who once came down he can still be found
Every when and everywhere

My world is crying
Crying for a Christmas
Some way to know for sure --
That our God is with us
Once a baby so small
Grew to die for us all
For a world that still cries for Christmas.

Jesus you are here Jesus you are now
Jesus you are here Jesus you are now

My world is crying
Crying for a Christmas
Some way to know for sure --
That our God is with us
We can all be the sign
That his love is alive
For a world that still cries for Christmas

Reason for the Season....

It's that time of the year again, December is upon us  with  all the joys of Christmas, my favorite time of the year.  A time to celebrate one and all!!!! For me personally the season starts after Thankgiving where I can put up the Christmas decorations, I always look forward to this time, the festivities and all the family traditions.  Of course there's also the stress  of searching for the perfect-inexpensive :)  presents for my love ones and the busy-ness of it all. Part of the holiday that I love.
But what is the true meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, dinners with family and friends? It's far more than all the decorations, the presents and the good food. It is a time to celebrate and remember God's great love for us.  Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of our saviour, Jesus Chirst.  He was born so one day the price could be paid and give us access to internal life.  So, let's  grasp the true meaning of Christmas and
no matter where were at, let it be a time of  healing and renewed strength and hope for all of us.

JESUS is the reason for the season!!!!!  Forget about Jesus and you’ve missed the entire, glorious point of the celebration .

Craft room decked! :)
