Happy New Year!!!!!

These are the last 3 layouts for 2008 !!!!
It was a creative, challenging scrapping year for me. I'm very thankful for being able to do this.
To be able to share and preserve memories in such an enjoyable and artful way!! :) I am excited
what the new year will bring. My goal is to continue to enjoy the fun in creating for myself and
my love ones. :)........also to learn and try new things and maybe focus more on my photography.
But, whatever is out there for me...............I will be thankful!!
WISHING EVERYONE A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!! See you all next year!

More SNOW!!!!!!

Gosh, I am tired of snow already!!! It snowed all day yesterday and I have to stay home again. I tried to call my work but I guess no one made it too coz no one answers the phone!!! We have more snow in the forcast too. Ugh! I am getting really bored. I should be scrapping but for some reason I don't feel like it! I shoot a lot of photos though, but even that is getting boring by now.
Oh but, guess what I did yesterday? KAREOKE. LOL!!! and I did it for hours! Do I have the voice to sing? a little bit! LOL!!!

By the way I have a good news I wanted to share: I got this e-mail from ST Magazine!!!!
I am so excited and happy!!!!

Snow Day!!!!!

I had to stay home for the past 2 days because of the snow. There is no way I will drive in this weather, even if you pay me!!!! so I stayed home and I had a FUN day. I cooked chicken soup, egg rolls, tofu and pork (tokwa at baboy)....very authentic Filipino dish. oh It was good!!!! Hot food on a cold day.

Next, I wrapped presents, and so glad that I already shopped before the snow hits. Well, some people might say the weather wasn't that bad but for me it's enough to stay home. :D, of course Chris is one of those people. He drove everywhere, drove me nuts!!!

Then of course I took pictures, lots and lots of pictures! Perfect time, kids are all home. Really had a great fun time. I just hope that the weather will be back to normal by Monday..............as much as I'm having a fun time off, I really really need to go back to work!

These are few of my favorites!!!

Scenic Route Toot!

I just want to say thank you to Lyle Koncar and the Scenic Route Staff for picking another layout of mine. I tell you this is soo addicting! SR ROCK...........what can I say!! :) This one is for the November challenge - to use the Garland Paper Line, and here it is. I created a Christmas tree for the focal point of my layout by cutting out a tree shape, embellished it with cut out shape ornaments and wrapped ribbon around it. I like it!

Christmas Countdown!

The first week went by so fast!!!!! So many more things to do and so little time. Oh well...at least our tree is up! Chris, for the first time put up some lights outside the house. We lived in this house for almost nine years and he never thought of this things and I really don't mind not having decorations outside the house. Trying to conserve energy to avoid huge electric bills.

Anyhow it looks somewhat nice! :)

I still have to do lots of shopping! I have not done anything on that department. I still have 2 weekends to shop since Miguel's birthday is on the 23rd and we are planning to celebrate it this coming weekend. He wanted to invite few friends and of course cousins. So, you see I will be so busy.

I did took some time for myself yesterday. I met with my scrapping buddies and scrapped all day. Debbie got her new Cricut and we get to play with it!!! That machine is pretty amazing. If money is not an object I would like to have one! We did our exchange gifts and eat all day. I think I had sugar overdose!! Headache and tummy ache! Ah, why do I do this to myself all the time!
