Quick Quotes June Kit Album

Hello!! Tuesday morning and back to work for me as usual!!! I had a good weekend, lots of things done. Like this one,  a project I made with the June  QQ Club Kit . More vacation photos from last years trip to Canon Beach and Seaside Oregon!  Between my family and my sisters, I have hundreds of photos taken. So much fun and good memories to scrap! and with this QQ kit, it really makes it easy to scrap these memories. The patterned papers are gorgeous!!! The kit comes with the instructions of how to construct this album using these gorgeous papers. Everything you need to complete an awesome project.

Fascinated!!!

Happy Memorial Day and  a good morning to eveyone!  Last day of the 3 day weekend. The weather again is gloomy and a bit  rainy here and there, but there is nothing to complain about! The rain is perfectly fine and I am okay with it! :) We did not do anything fun as a family, we did our little own thing.

Miguel can't go anywhere because he is grounded from getting a detention for running. Hubby works with the car as usual. Jason was all over the place with his friends.  As for myself on the other hand accomplished a lot of "chores"!!! wink wink!  like working on my DT projects to meet deadlines, very important! went grocery shopping that happens to be close to Michaels and picked up few things with my 50% off coupon. And gardening, I finally did it,  I transplant some of my growing hostas  by the shady part of the front yard. That was hard work but very rewarding, since I have been planning to do it forever.

And today is a relax day for me, hopefully, if I can get myself away from my craft room LOL! but then again that would be a relaxing thing to do! right!

Anyhow, I made a layout for the Sketchy Thursday Challenge Blog, love their sketches!

On this layout I used this AWESOME paper line, Just Jackson  by  Quick Quotes!!  So perfect with my grandson photo! just gorgeous papers!!

Hello Hello Hello!!!

I'm kind of excited for work day this week .  Well this weekend was a little off and I am emotionally and physically exhausted! But, then again what else is new! story of my life! :)

I watched 4 movies this weekend, 3 from Saturday (tagalog movies, I watched with my mom and my sisters at my SIL's house); then today I just finished one, Under the

Tucson Sun! it's  a wonderful romantic  and definitely a chic movie and I think Diane Lane is beautiful! 

Anyhow, I am getting ready for bed now. Oh and today I had finished few projects for my design teams!

Steampunk !!!

Just a card with a star! :) 

who ever is graduating or anyone worthy will be the recipient of this card! :)

My friend introduced me to this "steampunk" look. 

And what is steampunk??? Tim Holtz and my friend Sandy will know the answer LOL!

I guess it's a combination of industrial revolution and victorian design, in short grungy and pretty mix together. 

Anyhow I this card fits perfectly for the The Paper Variety Challenge this week. Great challenge TVP!!!

It's really very simple and easy.

Here are the supplies I used: Clear UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel); Powder Puff Chalking Ink by Quick Quotes; Heat Gun; and Clear Scraps Heart Shape.

Swipe ink across entire surface of the clear heart.

Apply UTEE, covering the entire heart.

Shake off excess powder.

Using heat gun, heat powder until raindrop texture appears.

Over heating will cause the powder to go smooth.

I then traced the heart shape onto this paper and attached it under the embossed heart and added sentiments.

There you go! a stained glass look.
Note; The heat makes the acrylic warp a little, depending on the amount of heat applied, but it also makes it very pliable so you can bend it back when needed.

My C!!!

Good Sunday morning everyone! The weather forcast for today is sun and of course dry or maybe :). It's supposed to be the warmest day of spring and I can see the sun peeking already.  It should make me excited right,  but the most beautiful day is also the day I'm sick. Fever, cold, sore throat and coughing.....ackkk, go figure!!!! Anyhow I always say that all of the above won't keep me from having fun, and we will see! I have tylenol and ariborne to the rescue. Also have a schedule with Massage Envy for 2 glorious hour of massage therapy this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to that! My mom is back from my sisters and i tell you my day is looking good already. My mommy will cook for me today.  LOL!

As to my scrapping mojo, glad to say it's here! This month is all about creating. I have never been so inspired and so motivated to create lately and I'm loving it!!!! So here's my "C",  It is a part of my living room decor now and I really love it!
