Snowy Thanksgiving....

Nov 23 - Well they have predicted that we are going to have an extreme winter weather this year, sure and soon enough winter arrived with a BANG! It started on and off early morning then, late afternoon where it damped for several hours. It was so beautiful and magical.  I love the snow, the feathery white color blanketing the whole surroundings, the snowflakes coming down from the sky, the kids playing outside.   Ari had so much fun but got sick the following day. Miguel had a blast and prayed for more snow, he just wanted school to be cancelled which of course were answered :), no school and with thanks giving coming up he end up with 6-day weekend instead of four, lucky guy! Jason and Danny, my teenagers (D-adopted son) thinks that throwing snow balls at my bedroom window was fun, and when I peek  outside,  they run and giggle like little kids. These are the little things that makes me happy and thankful for. God blessed me with a family of my own. We make each other mad, we sometimes cry, we argue on the littlest things, we don't see things eye to eye at times. Yes, this is my clan and I love them all with all the goodness and imperfections. Sometimes, it's easy to become angry with the people we love the most . My wish and expectations for them sometimes cause frustrations and disappointments.  Of course I want the best for my kids and most of all is for them to acknowledge  God's blessings, to give thanks to our Creator for His gifts. By doing the right thing in Gods eye and not what is popular.
God's grace is the ultimate gift, and we owe Him the ultimate thanksgiving. Let us praise the Creator for His priceless gift.  When we do we are eternally blessed.

Here's one of my blessings that I'm so thankful for,
my LOVE of photography & scrapbooking!

Have a Great Thanksgiving to all!!!

Ari's FIVE!!!!

It's so hard to believe that he's already five!!! It seems like we were just at Swedish Hospital delivery room and waiting for his arrival. A tiny baby boy with a big crying voice. Our first grandson, such a precious little creature, just exactly how I envisioned that moment, and no doubt it was one of the happiest moments in my life. I am a grandma, a young looking grandma LOL! The joy and excitement on that moment are so crystal clear until this day. A true miracle of life, a blessing, a gift from God.

Halloween Night......

Beautiful night for trick or treaters...... We disposed two bags of candies last night, there's a couple group of little kids early in the evening. I had to stay home this time and give away the candies, I was too tired to walk around the neighborhood. Always have the energy to take pictures though. Had a little get together with the family. I'm so glad my mom is home to help cooked chicken soup and fresh lumpia. It wouldn't be the same without the chicken soup, it's a given! and of course we missed Malayah and Audriana, the Hornes - wish they were here last night. It was a fun night anyhow, and now we have tons of candies that will last us for months but with my kids and Chris, maybe weeks! LOL!
