Quiet 4th of July!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th! The long weekend was fun and surprisingly quiet ! Jeng had the boys for the weekend, they should be home anytime soon. Chris, my Mom and myself watched the fireworks on tv with the sound effect from outside the neighborhood. I did get a chance to finish 2 very mini albums. It feels good to do some of this again.

First, let me share this.....I finally got my copies and some goodies from ST mag! So very cool!

He Turned 49 Today!!!

Quick post of a little birthday celebration, We had Thai for dinner at the new place we've been wanting to try. And, what's a birthday without cake and ice cream. I got it from Costco. It's good! :)
He's trying to cover his newly pierce ears. Sure, why not get it now before the BIG 50!

A day of picture taking......

Finally put my camera to work again, such a waste of equipment! First of all I could not find the compact flash so I have to buy a new one. I'm sure it's buried somewhere with all the scrap/crap that I have plus with all the things that's going on. I have not scrapped for months ( I made 2 layouts since...). So this morning and all through the day all I did was take photos. Here are few to share.

RAINY DAY!!!!

SO rainy and SO gray!!!!! When is winter going to be over???? Well, there is a saying that if winter comes, can spring be far behind? or "there ain't no cloud so thick that the sun ain't shinin' on t'other side". On that quotes I will keep on waiting!

Here are what's going on within my scrappy world..

1. I had chosen as GCD product tester, I think it's pretty cool! TESTER!! :)

2. My layout got picked by ST-Holiday Idea Book for publication. Exciting!

Beautiful Day!

Oh yeah! No rain and the sun is up! What else can you ask for right? Such a gorgeous day!

The work in the house continues. I missed my scrap day with my scrapping friends to help Chris with stuff, at least that was my intention, to help! We did not accomplish a lot though, and to make the story short he worked on the car instead of what was planned! and guess what I did all day yesterday...nothing. I stayed in bed all day, watched 2 movies on demand (excess baggage and committed)! I think I'm a little bit on the down side. I am so emotional and sad. I am in a funk!! Is it that time of the month perhaps or could it be just life itself? oh well such is life! It did feels good doing nothing for a change anyways! But, this morning I got up early, cooked breakfast and lunch too then went to church. Another day and yes it is a beautiful day. I have no intention of moping around again. So got out did a little gardening and some scrapping. I have to move to get this funk out of me. I even made a layout for a sketch challenge!

Doesn't it feels like it was the longest winter?!? I have not seen this kind of weather since I came here. I see how time really change! Oh well! But, YAY today is the 2nd day of spring and it's a beautiful day! Spring cleaning is still happening, the painting project continues. BIG TASK! Anyhow, it also means NO cooking for me today, it's pizza night. I'm craving for Papa Johns barbeque chicken pizza anyway! My favorite! Kids will be happy!
Scrappin wise, I always find time! gotta scrap...you know! :)
Oh and I'm tooting for my Scenic Route layout, "Still Crazy After all..." for March challenge! :)
