Bloom!!!

Hello Hello Hello!!!

I'm kind of excited for work day this week .  Well this weekend was a little off and I am emotionally and physically exhausted! But, then again what else is new! story of my life! :)

I watched 4 movies this weekend, 3 from Saturday (tagalog movies, I watched with my mom and my sisters at my SIL's house); then today I just finished one, Under the

Tucson Sun! it's  a wonderful romantic  and definitely a chic movie and I think Diane Lane is beautiful! 

Anyhow, I am getting ready for bed now. Oh and today I had finished few projects for my design teams!

Steampunk !!!

Just a card with a star! :) 

who ever is graduating or anyone worthy will be the recipient of this card! :)

My friend introduced me to this "steampunk" look. 

And what is steampunk??? Tim Holtz and my friend Sandy will know the answer LOL!

I guess it's a combination of industrial revolution and victorian design, in short grungy and pretty mix together. 

Anyhow I this card fits perfectly for the The Paper Variety Challenge this week. Great challenge TVP!!!

 So, your first hop stop, Adora here! and if you are here, I wanted to say thank for your time and your anticipated participation on the Clear Scraps blog hop!  My hope is that this project will inspire you to create with this amazing product and play along with us.  Since Mother's day is just around the corner I decided to create this card for my Mom, and, to share with you this mini tutorial of how to acquire this stained glass look. It's really very simple and easy.

Here are the supplies I used: Clear UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel); Powder Puff Chalking Ink by Quick Quotes; Heat Gun; and Clear Scraps Heart Shape.

Swipe ink across entire surface of the clear heart.

Apply UTEE, covering the entire heart.

Shake off excess powder.

Using heat gun, heat powder until raindrop texture appears.

Over heating will cause the powder to go smooth.

I then traced the heart shape onto this paper and attached it under the embossed heart and added sentiments.

There you go! a stained glass look.
Note; The heat makes the acrylic warp a little, depending on the amount of heat applied, but it also makes it very pliable so you can bend it back when needed.

Hi ! I am finally feeling a little better, thank God! It's not fun to be sick. acckk!! Anyhow here's a layout I made for Clear Scraps. He is such a funny silly kid and he always makes me smile. My C!!!

Good Sunday morning everyone! The weather forcast for today is sun and of course dry or maybe :). It's supposed to be the warmest day of spring and I can see the sun peeking already.  It should make me excited right,  but the most beautiful day is also the day I'm sick. Fever, cold, sore throat and coughing.....ackkk, go figure!!!! Anyhow I always say that all of the above won't keep me from having fun, and we will see! I have tylenol and ariborne to the rescue. Also have a schedule with Massage Envy for 2 glorious hour of massage therapy this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to that! My mom is back from my sisters and i tell you my day is looking good already. My mommy will cook for me today.  LOL!

As to my scrapping mojo, glad to say it's here! This month is all about creating. I have never been so inspired and so motivated to create lately and I'm loving it!!!! So here's my "C",  It is a part of my living room decor now and I really love it!
