Sun Kiss.............

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great hot summer. Today I am excited to share this layout, Clear Scraps  is teaming up with Imagine Cratfs for a fun technique filled project week. Working with acrylics can sometimes get intimidating, but really once you get your hand on it , the possibilities are endless. 

Starting with the round acrylic, I used Orange Zest Stazon Ink pad to represent the hot sun. Simply rub the inkpad directly onto the acrylic.

Next Step: I used a 12x12 Acrylic Sheet as my canvas. Spray white  Irrisistible Textured Spray sporadically onto the page then blot with ink blusher to blend. Let it dry for a few minutes. 

Then, apply Blue Hawaii and Spice Chai Stazon ink using the ink blusher.  Wet the ink blusher with a little rubbing alcohol and  blot with the ink blusher to blend color. 

 Now, I thought to add a few spray of Black Irrisistible spray and then wipe with paper towel with rubbing alcohol. There is really no wrong way of doing this. It's all personal preference, I think!

You Are My Happy...Creating Made Easy February Kit...

Hello everyone! Woke up with the bright and beautiful site, yes finally snowed last night, i've been waiting for it, winter will not be the same without a little bit of the white stuff. Now I am ready for spring :) . 

I am so excited this month is love month!!! I can feel the love in the air.  First let me share this mini album I created for my Creating Made Easy Kit team.  This is a gorgeous kit, it has everything you need to create something special for that special someone. As you can see this is for my husband, well really for me :) It's just so much fun to create this and document few of the special times captured in photos. Makes this project extra special.

Balloon Journey Album - Clear Scraps!



Hello everyone!!! I am back ! life's all kind of stuff caught up on me and in effect it made a lot of things on hold, at least scrapping wise. The mojo/magic was gone. Although I have to create for committments I wish I could have given my 100 percent. But anyhow I am back and yes, it feels good to be me again.  All in all 2013 was a great year, lots of great memories and sad time, when we lost Lucy, our dog for 13 years in November. We miss her a great deal.

Anyhow, happy new year everyone! wishing you all a blessed 2014!!

To begin with 2014, today I am sharing this first project I posted for my Clear Scraps Team.

Featuring the brand new Acrylic Balloon Album. Aren't this cute, it so fun to work on.  I used all my scraps to embellish the pages.

Clear Scraps & DCWV Blog Hop...

Hello everyone and welcome to the CS and DCWV blog hop! What an awesome team up!!! Hope you are enjoying the projects-inspiration brought to you by both teams. For my project, I created this winter theme card using a page of Clear Scraps Mini Snowman album and DCWV 6x6 Spooky Time and Woven Paper Stack.  I think it works :) after all there is no right and wrong creating is wherever your imagination will take you :).

Here is a closer look! First I trace and cut the snowman image onto the cardstock then glued on for backing. I added punched white cardstock for snow and snowflakes.

Then I stamped the sentiment inside.

Other supplies used: Hampton Art Stamp and Ki Memories Sticker.

Clear Scraps & Lindy's Stamp Gang!

Hello everyone!!! This week, Clear Scraps and Lindy's Stamps. teamed up together to bring you some awesome inspiration from both team.

For my project, I created this Christmas layout using Clear Scraps Acrylic 12 X 12 Sheet, A

Acrylic Tree Album, SEI Chalet Paper Collection and Lindy's Jingle Bells Spray Set. 

I first sprayed the acrylics with Lindy's Jingle Spray Set and let it dry overnight (it really worked together and I  love them).  Then, cut and layer two papers and adhere onto the back of the acrylic. Trace and cut the shape of the tree onto a patterned paper and adhere as the backing, this will make the sprayed area of the tree more visible. Arranged photos and embellishments on top of the page.

Project Life...

Good day everyone! Oh boy, does it feel like fall today!!!  The sound of the gusting wind outside makes me want to crawl back in bed, It's the perfect day for it. Anyhow I've done my chores for today even cook our meal for this afternoon and so I am all set to do just that. My intention is to scrap today but the warm bed is so much more appealing. We will see!!!

Fall Layout & Halloween Decor **CME Kit**

Hello everyone! ahhh so chilly out today! Got my car ready for about few minutes to get rid of the frost on the windows! Cold season is upon us once again :) we still get the afternoon sunshine with the cool breeze and I'm loving that. It's warm, sunny and a welcome relief for the not so anticipated cold winter :)

Imaginisce and Kiwi Lane...

Hello everyone! have you been to Imaginisce blog yet? Design team members put together some awesome projects all week long featuring  Imaginisce and Kiwi Lane .  Really enjoyed working with the product combination. I created this layout of my nieces' all out halloween costume, with make up and everything and she looks wonderfully spooky :)

Halloween is one of the most fun event in my house. The kids are anxious for this day to come,the custumes, pumpkin curving and candies makes them excited and me I just want to take pictures. :)

Boo Cards!!!

 

 

 

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend! Can I tell you how beautiful the weekend was specially yesterday.  It's a breaking the record gorgeous day...I'm pretty sure it was in the low 70s and that was awesome. Anyhow something happened overnight and I woke up with rain :).

 Friday was WCM day and I have shared some cards with you guess what I have more....

Created these cards for my Imaginisce team, in honor of card making day...

Halloween is just around the corner you know.  I don't normally send Halloween cards but my grandson will sure appreciate this. Love him to pieces.

Happy World Card Making Day....

Happy WCMD everyone, or should I say card makers and scrapbooker out there. So in honor of this day I am going to share with you some cards that I put together .  Well this was done back in August along with two of my very talented scrappy friends. We decide on a project and get together at least once a month, and for August project it was cards. I Made Christmas cards also and I still have to take photos of those. I am so happy I'm ahead for this years' holiday! one of my lists - checked bam done :)!  Oct. is not planned yet but for Nov. we are going to have a field trip :) CK convention on the 9th, so looking forward for it!!

Anyhow I hope you are creating and celebrating this day of card making. This is also a good way of using all you stash.

That day we also celebrated my birthday! Flowers and cake from my sweet daughter!!!
